Vivian is an associate in our Banking & Finance practice in Hong Kong.

Vivian obtained her LL.B. degree at the Xiamen University and LL.M. degree at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She passed her PRC bar exam in 2017.

She has been assisting with asset finance transactions, including sale and leaseback transactions and refinancing, since her start of practice. Before joining CMS, she worked for another international law firm focusing on shipping finance and has internship experience with a leasing house dealing with aircraft finance and leasing.

  • A leading Chinese leasing company in respect of the leasing financing of four bulk carriers built in China. 
  • Two major Chinese leasing companies regarding their sale and leaseback transaction of two new built oil tankers with a Singapore shipping company and post-delivery financing with an international bank.
  • A Chinese finance lessor on the sale and leaseback financing of one LNGC and one FSU converted from LNGC for a South East Asian energy project.
  • A Chinese leasing company on the sale and leaseback of one accommodation vessel with a Chinese SPV lessor.
  • A large Chinese leasing company on the sale of one Hong Kong flagged container ship, including liaising with the Hong Kong Ship Registry.
  • A large Chinese leasing company on the sale and leaseback of one LNGC tanker built in Korea.
  • A leading Chinese leasing company on the sale and leaseback of six new built container vessels with a major Korean shipping company, including title registration with the Marshall Islands Ship Registry.
  • A major Chinese leasing company on the sale and leaseback with a US investment company in respect of six bulk carriers built in China under the flag of Liberia, including title registration and financing charter recordation with Liberian Ship Registry.
