Highlights of our experience in Marine Insurance
- Trade Credit and Political Risk: We advise and act for major European and Asian credit insurers, providing policy advice and defending clams. Our work includes investigating cases in which fraud is suspected, mapping the inter-relationships between parties to a transaction and devising a strategy for recovery action or defence of a policy claim using in-depth trading knowledge which the team has acquired with a combined experience of nearly 100 years in Hong Kong
- Fine Arts: The last 20 years has seen unprecedented growth in the Asian and Southeast Asian art market with china emerging as the second largest market for art in 2018. The Asian art market looks set to continue to grow, and with growth comes the need for ancillary professional services such as insurance, loss prevention, appraisal and legal support. At CMS Hong Kong we are well placed to serve the needs of clients in the region. We combine our knowledge of the fine art world with the legal expertise to deliver pragmatic commercial advice to our clients across the full spectrum of support they require with a particular focus on insurance policies and claims.
